Last updated: May 7, 2026

Our Commitment

Jay Dahal is committed to ensuring that jaydahal.com is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards.

Measures Taken

  • Semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy
  • All interactive elements are keyboard navigable
  • Motion animations respect prefers-reduced-motion — all animations are disabled or simplified when this setting is active
  • Color contrast ratios meet WCAG 2.1 AA minimums (4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text)
  • All form fields have visible labels and descriptive error messages
  • SVG illustrations include role="img" and aria-label attributes
  • Skip-to-main-content link available at the top of each page

Known Limitations

We are actively working to improve the following areas:

  • Complex SVG animations may not be fully described to screen reader users in all browsers
  • Some third-party embeds may not fully comply with WCAG 2.1 AA
